Hey all-check out the band LENNY-they're a rock band from Nashville and friggin awesome! They are definitely on their way to making it big. Take a listen at myspace (/lenny)....these are some of their older songs, but they've got some new stuff coming out fairly soon, so keep listening for that.
Let me know what you think!

I like this list a lot. It was really weel thought out, and was not biased towards any particular band (i.e. more love towards the Beatles than the Stones). However, the song that really shocked me due to its absence on the list is Black Dog, by Led Zeppelin from the album Zoso. It is truly one of the greatest rock songs of all time, and I'm afraid that it sometimes does not recieve the recognition it deserves (mainly because it was not released as a single). An unforgetable beat, along with legendary lyrics, and that thunderous guitar riff by Jimmy Page that defines great music are a prime example of Led Zeppelin's true greatness. The other songs by the legendary Led Zeppelin that are on the list are deserving to be in the spotlight, don't get me wrong. But I find it difficult to pick any of the other Zep songs on the list (Rock and Roll, Whole Lotta Love, Dazed and Confused, and even the orchestra masterpeice Kahmir ) before Black Dog. Black Dog is probably Zep's second greatest song. I just can't remember the name of their greatest song.....

Well, I'd probably list the Killers under thecategory of heavy metal. Nirvana and Red Hot Chili Peppers kind of fall into a gray area between rock and metal.
